Detective game
Last Saturday at 3 a.m. a janitor screamed loudly when he
noticed that a valuable painting was missing from the lobby of
an apartment building. He closed the building so no one could
escape and called the police.
When the police arrived to investigate the building, which
contained just one flat on each floor, the detectives discovered
some remarkable facts: one person lived in each flat and they
were all at home at the time of the theft; no two people had the
same name, age or nationality; all had different motives for
wanting the painting and they each had just one place to hide it.
