115 3 Growing up Last but not least, it will be good for the social life of our school. Many students spend their breaks outside the school area, and others end up alone roaming the hallways. In the canteen there will be tables and chairs, a social space for everyone. Maybe we can even have chess games, quizzes and other activities. To sum up, there are many good arguments for starting a school canteen. I think it will benefit everyone: the students, the teachers and the school as a whole. I really hope the head teacher will consider it, at least for a while to see how it works out. What do we have to lose?
