Write down the contractions you find in the text. Then, write each of them out in two words. Example: I’m is the short form of I am. b) What is the infinitive of each of the verbs used in the contractions? Write them down. Example: The verb in I’m is am. The infinitive of am is to be. c) Do you use contractions when writing? When and in which types of text do you use them?
