Write down a few keywords to sum up the interpretations of each story. 6 Invent a six-word story Work with a partner. One of you starts by saying a word. The other comes up with the next word. Go back and forth until you have a six-word story. Write it down. Make several six-word stories and share the ones you like the best with the rest of the class. Writing 7 Find synonyms A synonym is a word or a phrase that means almost the same as another word or phrase. Example: The word happy is a synonym for the word cheerful or glad. One word can have several synonyms. First, write down any words you think are synonymous with each of the following words.
