Fortunately, there are people – political activists – who exercise this right by speaking up about important issues that concern us all. Preserving the environment is one example of such an issue, as is the fight for equality for all people worldwide. It is no surprise that activists are role models to many of us. They inspire us with their persistence and experience, and through their good deeds. a) Write down the focus words you find in the text. b) Work with a partner.
