Legal and regulatory provisions The Advisory Board operates under the responsibility of the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. Its administration is handled by the Direc- torate of Education. The Advisory Board operates on the basis of Article 30, fourth paragraph, of the Compulsory School Act No 91/2008, and Article 33b, sixth paragraph, of the Upper Secondary Education Act No 92/2008, as amended. Its role has been further defined by Regulation No 1040/2011 on the responsibilities and obligations of persons belonging to the school community of compulsory schools, and by provisions contained in Regula- tion No 326/2016 on the responsi- bilities and obligations of persons belonging to the school commu- nity of upper secondary schools. The Advisory Board’s working pro- cedures are laid down in Rules of Procedure No 30/2019 regarding the work of the Advisory Board on Bullying in Compulsory and Upper Secondary Schools.
