Some days should never happen

Last night I went to a party and I came home late.

come) home late.

If I (not go) to bed so late, I

(wake up) at the right time.

If I (wake up) at the right time, I

(have) time for a cup of coffee.

If I (have) a cup of coffee, I (not be)

in such a foul mood.

If I (not be) in such a foul mood, the class (not seem) so difficult.

If I (not be) in such a rush, I (not

leave) my glasses and my students’ books on the table. If I

(have) my glasses, I (be) able to read the textbook.

If I the students’ homework at home, (not

leave) they (do) their corrections. If they

(do) their corrections, they (not have) to write

this silly "if" story.
